RSS Feed FAQ
What is RSS?RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary." The RSS feed for a web site allows a subscriber to view updates to a web site without clicking through all of the pages. It's a convenient way to stay informed about frequently changing topics, like H1N1. How do I use the RSS news feed?1. You will need a Feed Reader or News Aggregator software to allow you to grab new posts from the RSS feed. Google Reader can be used for free with any Google account and many Internet browsers offer their own version of Feed Reader (e.g., Firefox Live Bookmarks). 2. After you have established your Feed Reader, simply click on the orange icon and subscribe using the appropriate reader choice in the pull down box at the top of the page.
