What does the MOPHLI curriculum and schedule include?
The design of the program utilizes four methodological approaches over a year period, a sequential development format, which includes: 1) personal growth experiences, 2) conceptual development, 3) feedback, and 4) skill building.

The program structure consists of, three 2.5 days of on-site sessions (a total of approx. 76.5 hours), 3 intersession periods, and a graduation session that overlaps with the first session of the next program cycle. A certificate of completion and pin is provided to Fellows during the graduation ceremony.

A typical MOPHLI schedule includes:
Pre-Session:  Complete any assignments that include online self-assessments, readings, & on-line courses

Session #1: 2.5 days in St. Louis, Missouri with topics including an overview of Self-Assessments (MBTI and LPI) and individual feedback, Individual Development Plan, Organizational Learning and Systems Thinking, Case Study Project, and Collaborative Leadership Modules

Intersession #1: Complete assignments for Session #2

Session #2 (KMOLI): 2.5 day session in St. Louis, Missouri with topics covering: Leadership and Communication, Social Marketing, Systems Thinking and Organizational Learning, and Crisis Leadership

Intersession #2: Complete assignments for Session the Regional Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma Regional Leadership Institute (KMOLI) Program

Session #3: 2.0 day session (location TDB) with topics to include:  Wheel of Life/Self-Development, Cultural Competence, Public Health Issues from a Global Perspective, Global Issues from a Local & Systems Perspective, Critical/Crisis Issues from a Leadership Perspective

Intersession #3: Complete final assignments for graduation

Graduation/Capstone:  1.0 day session in St. Louis or Jefferson City, Missouri
